George EDWARDS Obituary

EDWARDS, George It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a kind and wonderful man, George Edwards, at the age of 48. On September 5th, we were shocked to find out he had cancer, and after only one session of chemotherapy, told it was too far advanced to be cured. On October 28, he left this world as he wanted, surrounded by some of the people he loved dearly and without suffering. Best friend and cherished husband for 27 years, of Tammy. He will be forever loved by his children, Stephanie, Keith and Rebecca. His parents Keith and MaryLou. His brothers and sisters, Kelly, Tim (Andrea), Matt, Janey-Lynne, Penny (Jim) and Lisa. His mother/father-in-law, Tom and Jackie Shanks. His brother-in-law, Jamie. He will be deeply missed by many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pleasant in manner, patient in pain. Our loss is his eternal gain. His cheery ways and smiling face are a pleasure to recall. He had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all. Some day we hope to meet him, some day, we know not when, to clasp his hand in the better land, never to part again. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations out to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Georgie, you're forever in our hearts. Online condolences can be made to www.canadiancremation.com
