George TINNERMAN Obituary
"A man of great passion"
George was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Jeanette Clark Ledogar and George August Tinnerman II. In the mid 1950's George and wife Joan (nee Lakotish) moved to Burlington, Ontario to begin his career at Dominion Fasteners. Father of 4 to Kathryn, George (2013), Mark and Michael. Grandfather to Joshua, Mikaylynn, Garret, Jaysen and Christopher. Great grandfather to Isaac. Shortly after arriving in Canada George realized his true passion in life as "the Chairman of the Board" founder and head coach of the Burlington Gatquatic Diving Club. But never himself perfected a "Triple Lindy" dive. There will be a family graveside service on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Burlington Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life to come in the summer of 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diving Plongeon Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangement entrusted to Smith's Funeral Home, Burlington, 905-632-3333.

Lifelong friends and neighbours back in Shoreacres. George made all of our childhoods fun. Every May 24th he co-ordinated fireworks on W.E Breckon's school field at Tuck Dr. and Spruce Ave. He always made you smile. God speed George. Our condolences to all Tinnerman family members. Kim And Cathy.

Your kindness and inclusiveness will never be forgotten. A significant memory is of many rides with "the gang" in the Rambler to Tyandaga or up Walkers Line to swim and dive. You will always be loved and bring smiles when you are spoken of. Thank you Big George!
