Peacefully at her home, the Lord called unto himself our dear Mom on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Vander Schaaf for 59 years. Dear mother of Wilma (Jan) Hoogendoorn, Joanne (Peter) Brouwer, Carolyn Vander Schaaf, Rita (Otto) Selles and Nick (Jane) Vander Schaaf. Loving grandma of 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Sister and sister-in-law to Yke Vander Schaaf, Tryn Nykamp, Harry and Diane Fledderus and Grace Nykamp. Pre-deceased by John Nykamp, Dick Nykamp, Toni Hiemstra, Eeltje Vander Schaaf, Willem Vander Schaaf, Jan Vander Schaaf, Ype Vander Schaaf, Klaaske Zylstra and great-grandson Benjamin Brouwer. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3-6 p.m. Following a private interment at Balmoral Cemetery, a Memorial Service will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to Jarvis Community Christian School would be appreciated by the family.
