VANDERBOLT, Gertrude Maria, ""Trudy"" (nee Laurenssen) July 5, 1926 - May 9, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Trudy Vanderbolt in her 92nd year at the West Haldimand Hospital. Trudy was predeceased by her loving husband Martin. Dear mother of Gary (Judy), Keith (Marilyn), Andy (Chelli) and Joe. She was a loving and caring grandmother to six grand- children, Craig (Melissa), Derek (Christa), Steven (Tanya), Sarah (Andrew), Rochanna (AJ), and Jessica, and great-grandmother to Cole, Alison, Kathleen, Evan, Isaac, Caleb and Hazel. Trudy is survived by her brother Harry Laurenssen and sister-in-law Mary Vanderbolt. Trudy was a long standing member of the CWL and St. Stephen's Parish in Cayuga. She liked gardening, working on the farm and spending time with her family. Special thanks to Dr. Bulger, all of the staff on the second floor of Anson Place and the nurses at West Haldimand Hospital. The family appreciates the care and compassion given. The family will honour her life with visitation in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL in Cayuga on Friday, May, 11, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Cayuga, on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Cayuga.
