Gregory Dwyer Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Greg Dwyer surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Helen. Lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Lynnette Dwyer, her children, Cameron Randell (Danielle), and Lauren Fredson (Ryan). Cherished "grampa Greg" to Harrison, James, George, and Sophie. Dear brother of Julie Dwyer-Young (late Stephen), Maureen Dwyer, Mary Elin Dwyer, Barb Dwyer, Anne Dwyer, and the late John Dwyer (Denise). He will also be missed by many nieces and a nephew. Greg was a retired employee of the Halton District School Board for 19 years and served 12 years as Special Constable with OPP Canine Search and Rescue with his cherished dog Cash. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses that cared for Greg at St. Catharines General Hospital, Walker Cancer Centre, and Juravinski Cancer Centre. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington on Wednesday June 1, 2022, at 10 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions to The Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, GRIMSBY, 905-945-2755.

I worked with Greg right before he retired. I know he was excited to retire and be a grandfather he was so excited! He was a strong man and his demeanor was one that garnered respect. I am so sad to hear he's passed I wish I could have gone to the funeral. I am so sorry for your loss, it was too soon! He will be missed.

Dear Lynnette and family

Greg was a great co-worker and always carried his share of the work with passion. A great sense of humour, too. Greg was part of our 3 man crew and we kept our school building very tidy.
