Harry Shakeshaft Obituary

Passed away quietly at Juravinski Hospital on December 3, 2021 in his 101st year. Reunited with his beloved wife, Marion, of 76 years. Dearly loved father of Robert (Wendy Attwell) and Dianne Baxter (Wayne), grandfather of Matt Letwin (Natisa), and great-grandfather of Henry, Theo, and Nora. Survived by his brother Donald Shakeshaft. Beloved "other dad" to Lynn Donovan and special friend ("Pa") to Marlyne Lapointe. He proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII, and made many friends and cherished memories during decades of membership at the Hamilton Naval Veterans Association. Our heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful staff of E3 at Juravinski Hospital. Cremation will take place and, at his request, there will be no visitation or service.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. My Parents Ed and Marge Rattray were friends of your parents and spoke of them often. My dad also severed in Royal Canadian Navy during WWII, with your Dad...God Bless them.
