Helen McCready Obituary
Formerly of Caistor Centre, passed away peacefully at Saugeen Villa L.T.C on Friday, May 13, 2022. Born on September 13, 1918. Survived by her sons Roy of Caistor Township, Robert (Marg) of Fort Erie, Ron (Denise) of Elmwood, and David (Marg) of Priceville, and daughter Maggie of Wasaga Beach. Helen was very proud of her 20 grandchildren, 35 great- grandchildren and ten great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Munro, daughter-in-law Betty, son-in-law Robert, granddaughter-in-law Laurie and three grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station St, Smithville, on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Merritt United Church, the Alzheimer Society, or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and if desired can be made through the funeral home.
