ZACHAREWICZ, Helen (nee Gaidomovich) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Zacharewicz on April 10, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Jan (2012). Loving mother of Richard (Dianne), Tom (the late Debbie), John and Arthur (Cindy). Dear Grandma of Michael (Tabi), Nicholas (Sophie), Adrian (Janine), Sarah (Steve), Amanda (Brandon), Steven (Marie), Alicia (Chris), Zachary and Lucas. Great-Grandma of Augustine, Aria, Gavin, Violet, Remy and Nora. Dear sister of Jean Staniewski (Tony). Predeceased by her sisters Phyllis, Annie and her brother Wesley. Mom loved to cook; meals at the family home were always a celebration. Her kitchen was her domain and to be invited into it was a privilege! Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 796 Upper Gage Ave., Hamilton, on Tuesday, April 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 17th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
