Henri P. VanGemert

Henri Van Gemert, age 82, passed away peacefully at Chartwell Brant Centre, on May 20, 2021. Sadly missed by his loving wife Adrianna "Jane" or "Sjaan" nee Van de Broek; by his children Henry (Cathy), Rudy (Brenda), John (Elizabeth), Debbie (Rene); by loving grandchildren Adam (Jessica), Nicolaas, Stephen, Rachel Van Gemert, Kyle and Kevin Van Gemert, Brandi, Courtney, Joel Van Gemert, Joshua, Justin and Emily Moraal; and by great-grandchild Brooks Van Gemert.

Henri was born in Eindhoven, Holland, the son of Anna (née Van de Hurk) and Trudo Van Gemert. He is the eighth child of 10 and is survived by his brothers Nico of Burlington and Tini of Holland. Henri will be sadly missed by the extended Van Gemert and Van de Broek families.

Henri was an electrician by trade and enjoyed working at New Electric for many years. He was an avid gardener and along with his wife Jane, a long standing member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chartwell Brant Centre Long term Care Residence.
