Ian Douglas CAMERON

CAMERON, Ian Douglas (Doug) On Monday, January 14, 2019, in his 74th year, Doug passed away at Brantford General Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his children Alison, Justin (Krista), Joel (Meagan), and their mother Ruthanne. Loved son of Ian and June Cameron (deceased). Doug is also survived by his brother Robert and his wife Connie and their children and families, Shawn (Jill), Amanda Cameron - Burnand (James) and Robyn Kidd (Ian). Doug spent over 50 years in the radio broadcasting profession, starting at CFRS Simcoe and then moving to Sarnia, Hamilton, Brampton and Brantford. He will be missed by the many colleagues he worked with during that time. The family would like to thank the staff at Brantford General Hospital CCU and Palliative Care units, for the excellent care and comfort they provided to the family. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 720 Ninth Ave. (Upper Gage) Hamilton, on Friday, January 25th at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held in the evening at The Gown and Gavel, 24 Hess Street S. Hamilton, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brantford General Hospital or Trinity Presbyterian Church.
