Ian Leslie HAM

1933 - 2022

Born on April 19, 1933 in Caerau, South Wales. Passed away surrounded by family at the Brant Centre in Burlington on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the age of 89. Predeceased by beloved wife Barbara of 65 years. Proud and loving father of Stuart (Wendy) and Paula (Graham). Adoring Bampa to Laura, Charlotte and Téa. Predeceased by parents Olwen and Leslie Ham, and brother Colin. Remembered fondly by family and friends in Wales, the UK, and Canada. Ian and Barbara immigrated to Canada from South Wales in 1963. Ian worked as a professional engineer at Stelco for 30 years, notably a member of the team designing and developing the coil box. He was a founding member of the Canadian Orpheus Male Choir. A special thank you to the Brant Centre for their kindness and care in his final few months, especially the staff of Hidden Valley. Funeral Service at St Luke's Church in Burlington will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
