Ian McQueen Obituary

Passed away at home in Grimsby, after a valiant battle with cancer on Friday, July 1, 2022, at the age of 45. Beloved son of Ian and Irene McQueen. Loving brother of Stephen McQueen Sr. Proud uncle of Stephen McQueen Jr. The "Steve's" as he so lovingly referred to them. "Brothers from another mother" Brent and Eric. Predeceased by his grandparents, Julie and Peter Yakowenko and James and Stella McQueen. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Ian was a proud cofounder and supporter of Hamilton Forge Football Club. A number one fan of the Hamilton Tiger Cats unless Saskatchewan was in town. Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. John the Theologian Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Road, St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Visitation from 11 to 1 with service commencing at 1. If desired, contributions to the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund or GBF Community Services would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
