Ingeborg Morgan Obituary
On Friday, April 1st 2022, Inge Morgan, loving mother of two and friend to many, passed away at the age of 101 years, 4 months and 22 days. She has happily joined her God and all of her treasured pets and friends.
She was born in Germany on November 11, 1920 and in her twenties, bravely sailed alone to Canada which she came to embrace as her home. Fluent in three languages, she quickly acquired a position with Stelco Steelworkers in Hamilton, where she met and later wed John Morgan. She is predeceased by John and survived by her children Glenn and Janet along with two grandchildren, Joseph and Robert.
Decidedly a philanthropist, her endless dedication and enthusiasm blessed many charities within the Hamilton and Burlington communities. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Good Samaritan, provided English lessons for landed immigrants, Joseph Brant Hospital, CNIB, St. Peter's Hospital and was a lifetime blood donor just to mention a few. If anyone was in need, they could count on her.
She was also a talented athlete, skiing the Swiss Alps as a child, a competitive swimmer, lover of dance and gardening, interior design, sewing and wool creations. She was a determined perfectionist in all that she tackled.
Smart, talented and extremely respectful and loving of nature and animals, she had a flair of her own for all these years and has outlived most.
Until we meet her again, look up to the sky and find a fluffy cloud - she will be floating on that one.
