CANTARELLI, Italo Passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Matilde (nee Abballe). Loving father of Angela (Joseph) Assenza, Teresa (Philip) Frisina and Albert (Jodie) Cantarelli. Cherished grandfather of Adam, Alanna (Vince), Amanda (Matthew), Stephanie (Alexander), Nicholas, Christopher and Alexandra. First time great-grandfather-to-be of baby Luca. Brother of Vittorio (Restituta) and predeceased by siblings Cesidio (Maria) and Maria (Ennio) Paolucci. He will be missed by his extended family in Canada and Italy. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (287 Plains Rd E, Burlington) on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those who wish in lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Italo to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph's Hospital - Hamilton would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
