Iva Di Giandomenico

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished mother and grandmother on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in her 98th year. Loving wife of the late Benedetto (2010). Loving mother to Julie (Craig), Salvatore, the late Maria (Roman), and the late baby Maria. Cherished nonna to Melanie, Serena (Patrick), Jennifer (James), Ryan, Elisa (Kevin), Julia (Gage), and Nik; and loving bisnonna to Lilah, Kaia, Skye, Roman, and Isla. Predeceased by her sister Assunta and brother-in-law Guido, brother Francesco, brother Lorenzo and sister-in-law Domenica, and brother Liberato. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Carmela as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special thanks to nurse Donmarie and the staff at Hamilton Health Sciences Satellite Site for their loving care of our mother. Visitation will take place at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton Street East, Hamilton) on Monday, January 31st from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. RSVP will be required of all guests for visitation on Iva's tribute page at www.friscolanti.com. Social distancing and masks will also be in effect. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony's Church (Hamilton) on Tuesday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (Burlington).
