Ivan BRADARIC

It is with profound sadness and much love that the family of Ivan (Ivica) Bradaric announce his passing on April 25, 2023 at the age of 76 years in Burlington, Ontario.
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 54 years, Ann; children: Christine (Louis) and Robert (Jennifer); grandchildren: Simon, Isabella, Benjamin and Bianca; brother: Mike (Julie dec); sisters: Biserka and Zlatica (Cvjeto) dec; nieces and nephews: Annette, Michael (Shelley), Sandra (Phil), Dubravka and Maja; brother-in-law: Nick; and great nieces and nephews.
Ivan immigrated to Canada from Croatia in 1967 with courage and a dream. Through hard work, determination and the support of his wife and children, he educated and transformed himself from an engineering technologist to a teacher, entrepreneur, and real-estate investor. He was a fighter and fierce competitor until his final days. He loved to jog, bowl, play soccer and swim. He was a family man who taught his wife to golf, and kids and grandkids to ski. Ivan adored his grandchildren and loved to dance and travel with Ann and his family. He lived by his own rules, was a brilliant risk-taker, an original Maple Leafs fan and proud Croat.
The family wishes to send their thanks to friends and family who supported them during this very difficult time, the AB&I and Cedar Springs team who oversaw operations so the family could dedicate their time to Ivan, and to Dr. M. Robinson for his care.
A Visitation will be held at 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on May 6, 2023, at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home, 2241 New Street, Burlington. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
