Jacob VANDERNOL Obituary
1929 - 2023
Peacefully, at the age of 93, Jacob passed away on January 22, 2023. Predeceased by his loving wife, Cobi. Father of Jon (Brigitte), Cobi (Ted), and Rob (Vicki). Dear Opa to Carol Ann, Johanne, Jason, Alex, and Stephanie. Great-grandfather of Serra, Morgan, and Isabella. He will be remembered by his friends and relatives in Canada and The Netherlands. The family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth Lodge for the excellent care and support they provided over the years. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens (1895 Main St. W., Hamilton, ON L8S 1J2). For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. Arrangements entrusted to Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Ancaster, (905) 648-3852.

My father was a great guy. Always opened doors for my mom. Helped us out with money when we were starting out. He should not have died the way he did. Alzhiemers robbed him of his twilight years. I miss him, and my mom. I hope you two are dancing up in heaven to old Dutch music right now.
