James Petteplace Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Petteplace in his 89th year. Son of James and Frances Petteplace. Predeceased by his brother Bill Petteplace and his sister Frances Waller. Leaving behind Gail Petteplace, mother to his three children; son Greg (Lori), daughters Jennifer and Nancy (Roger Logan), and his three cherished grandchildren Emma and Luke Logan and Janaya Petteplace. Predeceased by his grandson Quinlan Petteplace.
Allan, with Gail, owned and operated Petteplace Gallery Ltd. in Downtown Hamilton for 40 years. Allan shared his love of books by operating Allan Petteplace Bookseller in the lower level of Petteplace Gallery.
Our gratitude to Drs. Amer and Boyle for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A private service for immediate family will take place at a later date.
