We have the privilege of working with Leanne at HHS where Jeff was a very dedicated Volunteer. It was clear that Leanne wanted to do everything in her power to support Jeff and their boys with love and dedication which only grew over these last few months. We are so sorry for your loss and send our deepest condolences. Nancy and Darren Hayes.

Dear Leanne, Anders and Brody
There are no words to help heal the sadness you are experiencing on the loss of your dearest soulmate and father, Jeff.
Know that you are in our hearts and in our thoughts as you follow the path you now walk.
Jeff was such a strong but gentle spirit, wise for his years, with a sense of humour that prevailed through his life, helping him maneuver through whatever challenges life threw at him.
We tipped our hats to Jeff when the Habs gained their place as finalists in this year’s Stanley Cup.

Jeff and I were friends in high school, I was just thinking of him the other day. Jeff was a good friend and fellow Who fan. I always enjoyed his company and seeing him wherever we would run into each other, the last time being on the Go Train coming home from work. I haven’t seen Jeff in ages but knowing he’s moved on, I will miss him. Peace Jeff and my sincerest condolences to his family. Leeann, I hope resolution comes quickly to you and your boys.

I first met Leanne and Jeff At Kinark (Newmarket) before they starting dating ~ they were both delightful, thoughtful and caring. I'm saddened to read Jeff has passed away ~ he was far too young. I hope Leanne/family find peace in their warm memories and celebrate Jeff's life with love. I extend my heartfelt condolences.

I’m saddened by the loss of one of the best managers I ever had! Not only was Jeff a hard worker but also a caring, honest and respectful colleague. He gave honest feedback to help one improve in their position but was also able to take honest and direct feedback too. He was a “numbers” guy but also genuinely cared about his staff and their well being. Jeff always made me feel important and that I made a difference. Sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to Leann and his boys. I know that you three were his world. I’ll never forget Jeff, he wasn’t just my boss but also a dear friend. I’ll cheer for the Habs for you! Rest In Peace Jeff.

Jeff's impact on people can only be summed up as being amazing and profound. We shared triumphs and troubles along the way while learning new and creative ways to manage things at work. I knew Jeff before he moved to Hamilton and greeted him with open arms. Jeff believed in working hard and playing hard. We are on the same page for most things until he broke open the "sports analogies" at which point I turned the page! Jeff's level headed thinking and calmness will always be in the forefront of people's impressions of him. One thing that I will remember is if you made a mistake as long as you owned up to it, Jeff had respect for you. Jeff stood by those that worked with him and he help mold the career path for many others. Not only was Jeff my Manager for several years he was a friend I can count on when I didn't report to him. Condolences to the family and friends of a great guy. Rest well my friend.

My heart goes out to Jeff’s family. I worked with Jeff and was influenced by his style, quick wit and passion for knowledge. He often supported me with wise words “you know your job, don’t over think it” and “own your role, even if it’s only short term”. I will miss his squeaky shoes as he walked by my desk.
