Jeffrey STEWART Obituary

Born and raised in Ancaster, Jeffrey Ronald Stewart (35) left us suddenly on Thursday, April 21. He was the soulmate and true love of Ashley Kroes; cherished son of Ron and Martha; brother and best friend to Dan (Wendy); 'Jungle' Jeff to niece Maddie; much loved son-in-law to David and Maria Kroes; adored grandson to Nina (predeceased by Robert, and Molly and Joseph Young); fantastic fur-dad to Walter the lab; and absolute best guy to countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are like family. Jeff was an avid golfer, leader in skeet shooting, passionate car enthusiast and fastest skater on the ice. Everyone was proud to know him, and he will be greatly missed. A service and celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 1 p.m. at Marshall Memorial United Church (20 Gilbert Avenue, Ancaster). In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to the Jeff Stewart Junior Golf Bursary c/o the Hamilton Golf and Country Club Foundation. Please contact HGCC at 905 648 4471 and ask for Denise Contestabile or email [email protected]. Thank you to everyone who has helped during this time.

So many memories of when the kids were small. Fun fishing trips, hanging out on the dock and swimming at the cottage at Pike Bay. Hockey games and tournaments (we especially remember Lake Placid). Jeff and Ron Cole´s trip across Bay Finn in the aluminum boat back to Manitoulin Island during some pretty rough seas. We remember Jeff as a happy, friendly, very personable kid who had a great sense of humour. Our deepest condolences to all of the Stewart family and friends.

Dear Martha and Ron; We were shocked and saddened to read Jeff's obituary this morning. What a wonderful young man, whom we remember fondly as the cute little guy who lived next door, who always had a cheery "Hi". for us , each time we drove up the driveway. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and remembered with love.
Hope your sorrow passes soon and your memories of him last forever.
fondly,
Ron and Miriam

While I didn't know Jeff, Ron and Martha were neighbours. The whole family was close. They were often altogether at their place and you could tell the family shared a special bond. I am so sorry for all of you, and the loss you must feel. My sincere condolences.

I met Jeff through Emily and although only had brief encounters with him, always found him to be kind and with a smile. I had the pleasure of being their wedding coordinator and was witness to a day full of love. I´m so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Wishing his family much strength and the ability to remember happier times with Jeff.
