Jill Hildreth Obituary
Passed away peacefully in her 83rd year surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at McNally House Grimsby. Beloved wife of Martin (2009), loving mother of Carole (David) MacNeil, Sandra "Sandy" Hildreth (1984), and David (Kelly) Hildreth. Cherished grandmother of Grant (Karli), Connor (Sarah), Dylan (Mariah), Allison, and Justin. Adored GG of Riley and Lillian. Loved sister of Ann Rutter (Bob McKee). Will be sadly missed by her remaining siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Jill was very active in the community. She served on Lincoln town council for ten years and was a Regional Councillor for 18 years. She was a founding and active member of the Lincoln Garden Club and Horticultural Society.
Preregistration is required to attend visitation which will take place at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Monday, November 1, 2021, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. All Provincial protocols will be in place including the mandatory wearing of masks. As per Jill's wishes cremation has taken place. A private Memorial Service (by invitation only) will take place at the chapel on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 12 noon with interment of ashes to follow at Mount Osborne Cemetery. To view the livestream of the service, please visit the Tallman Funeral Home's Facebook page at the time of the service. If desired, donations to McNally House or St Alban's Church would be appreciated by the family.
