Jill Phipps of Caledonia, formerly of Port Dover, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton on Monday, November 21, 2022, in her 84th year after a brief illness. Loving wife of 58 years to Clifford Phipps, of Caledonia. Loving mother to her two daughters Lisa Sebok (Jonathan) of Tillsonburg and Lori Brownell (Chris) of Ancaster. Loving grandmother to her four grandchildren: Troy Sebok (Emily Mendonca) of Tillsonburg, Trevor Brownell (Felicia Dodsworth) of Ancaster, Devin Sebok (Veronika Petraskova) of Prague, CZ, and Nicole Brownell (Steve Gagnon) of Calgary and loving great-grandmother to baby Jack Gagnon. Survived by her sister, Leah Dyer, of Townsend, brother-in- law, Don Kennedy, of Owen Sound and a few nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bert, and Rhea (Smith) Dyer of Port Dover, and her two sisters, Gail Kennedy of Owen Sound and Lois Dyer of Brantford. Jill spent many, many years volunteering at the Edinburgh Square Heritage and Cultural Centre and at Senior Support delivering Meals on Wheels with Cliff. When she wasn't volunteering, she enjoyed working in her flowerbeds, crafting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and baking. She made the best desserts!! Cremation has taken place and there will be no public service. Memorial donations to Caledonia Senior Support Services would be appreciated by the family.
