Sherman, Joan Dianne (nee Tarbutt)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joan on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Shalom Village, surrounded by loved ones. Daughter of the late Harold and Shireen Tarbutt. Survived by her siblings Shireen Tarbutt (Mike Calligan), Earl Tarbutt (Anna), and Ray Mond (Jackie). Aunt of Harold (Jessica) and Melissa. Joan will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Hamilton and Toronto where she lived most of her life. Joan was a valued member of many organizations especially the U.S.S. Hudson Bay of Toronto. Special thanks to Shalom Village's Long Term Care Unit for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, September 22 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Church, 440 King St E, Hamilton, on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow at Holy Cross Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
