VERKOYEN, Johanna Maria (Kersgens) Peacefully at Albright Manor promoted to God's Glory in her 98th year. Loved and predeceased by husband Hank (1986) and son Paul (2008). Loving mother of Mary Gall. Cherished Oma of Gabe Gall (Polly), Julie Metcalfe (Walter), Scott Verkoyen (Sophie), Vanessa Verkoyen (Ryan) and Andrew Verkoyen. Great-Oma will be missed by Brendan (Stacy), Katie, Brett, Cam, Jacob and Kenneth, Kelsey, Alexis, Sam and Phoebee. Johanna was overjoyed at seeing her great-great-grandchildren Memphis and Maddy. She will be missed by Tom (Kaitlin) Kersgens and family and Mary Smeenk and family. Survived by many relatives in The Netherlands and Germany. We the family take great comfort in knowing Johanna was strong in her faith and she is at peace with her Lord and Saviour. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation and private interment will take place at a later date.
