Tragically passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. John at the age of 57 was the beloved soul mate and best friend of Kelly Ramsay. Devoted and much-loved son of Thomas and Valerie Bacon. Treasured brother and brother-in-law of Sandra and her husband Bill Hand, Paul Bacon and his wife Cathy, and Terri O'Sullivan and her husband Sean. Cherished uncle of Hannah (Andrew), Rachel (Stacy), Alex (Julianna), Andrew (Colleen), Cameron (Erin), Mitch (Samantha), and Noah. Forever remembered in the hearts of his many relatives, friends and colleagues. John's love for adventure took him and Kelly to many exciting destinations. The memories they made will bring comfort to Kelly during this unimaginable time. His smile lit up the room, his sense of humour was spot on and the love he had for his family and friends will never be forgotten. There will be a gathering to celebrate John's life on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 2:00-5:00 p.m., at the Waterfront Banquet and Conference Centre, 555 Bay Street North, Hamilton.
