John Wayne Church

CHURCH, John "Jack" Wayne – It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of John Church on the 21st of January, 2022, at Idlewyld Manor Long Term Care Centre, in Hamilton Ontario, in his 81st year. John was the most beloved husband to Diane (nee Foley), of which they recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. John was the proud father of three children, daughters Laura (Brian), and Carol (Victor), and son John. He was a wonderful and loving grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by siblings Bill and Valerie. John was also a Stelco retiree. Grandpa Jack shared his love of fishing, playing guitar, and singing in a band at the Legion with his family. The Church family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Idlewyld Manor, St. Peter's Hospital, and Juravinski Hospital for their care and support.
