I have many fond memories of John. I, like many before me was hired by John at Marriott. He was instrumental in launching several of our careers to higher levels. John was always calm, always patient and his wonderful witty humour made any situation relaxed.
John was always a gentleman, always professional and genuinely cared for well-being of others.

I always look up on John when I was a junior manager with Saga and director with Marriott. I admire John knowledge, decencies and commitments with his professional career. I last met John when he visited IBM for his non food services related work. We had a nice chat.
U will always be in my mind John.

I first met John when he joined Saga! John was a hard working manager who could always be counted on ! And because of that he continued to progress in his successful career! John was a real team player! His Golfing career never made the headlines but his professional management career certainly did. John was fun to be around and I know will surely be missed by Lynn and his family! As well as his many friends!

John was a very good friend and colleague for over 40 years. His physical presence will be missed but his spirit and the influence he had on me and so many others will live on in our memories and our behaviour.
