John Ivezic Obituary
John will be greatly missed by his aunt and uncle Rose and John Stajduhar, Stoney Creek and Striko and Strina Mile and Zlata Ivezic, Michigan, as well as many relatives in Canada, USA, Croatia and France.
John retired in 2011 from City of Hamilton after 36 years of service.
John was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus council 14421 and 868, lending a helping hand whenever he could.
The family would like to thank Dr Multani and the wonderful staff of Terraceview at Shalom Manor, Grimsby for their kindness and compassionate care of John for almost 3 years.
John was an avid Elvis fan and would look forward to spending weekends in Collingwood during their festival dressed in his Elvis attire, happy to pose for pictures with admirers. John was a great sports enthusiast especially for his sons.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Shalom Manor or Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish would be appreciated.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Rd) STONEY CREEK (905 664 4222) on Monday November 22nd, 2021 from 3 - 5pm and 7-9pm. Proof of full vaccination required. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish , open to all, mask required. Please RSVP in Advance for the visitation and funeral on John's Tribute page at www.smithsfh.com or by calling the funeral home between 9m and 5pm. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery and Mausoleum, 681 Mud Street, Stoney Creek, Ontario.

Our sincere condolences to John's family. we enjoyed so many friendly chats with John sitting around the campfire when he would visit his parents trailer at Birchcove campground in Bobcaygeon. his parents Tom & Josie were our neighbours there. we are very saddened to hear of his passing.

My condolences to John's family. We attended Glendale SS together and we played Football and shared classroom time together. Great guy and I'm sure he was a great husband and father. RIP John.
