John SHEEHAN Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of John after a courageous and long journey, on April 6, 2022, in his 78th year. Loving father to Ted, dear companion to Mary White, deeply loved brother to Linda (Larry) Gallagher, brother-in-law to Jim Shaw and Perry (Susan) Hoadley. John was predeceased by his wife Linda and parents Edward and Audrey (Wilfred Gower). John will be missed by many, including his extended family, Marisol (Richard, Amanda, Samantha), Mandy (Blain, Macguire) Tammy (Darrell, Shea, Leah), and wonderful lifelong friends and supportive neighbours. He will be dearly missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews. Thank you to all for your love and support over the years.
John was a long-time employee of Firestone and Zenon Environmental and was fortunate to retire at the age of 52, which enabled him to live a long retired life. After retirement he became one of the permanent Santa's at the Burlington Mall along with his wife Linda as Mrs. Clause. Many families came back year after year to take their Christmas pictures with him. Those knees held many babies, little ones and lots of grown-ups too, and his ears heard all those wonderful requests. John was a great man with a big heart and will be truly missed.
A private interment will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

My deepest condolences to the family. John was one of the long time community friends of my husband, Dennis, when growing up on Tragina Avenue in Hamilton. Friendly, caring and sharing: he will be missed.
