John Edgar ZETTLE

Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Saturday February 19, 2022 at the age 92 years. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee McCullough) for 43 years and best friend of 60 years. Loving father of Lois, David, Lynda and Sean(Lyndsey). Adored grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by Cassi and Patrick. Dear brother-in-law of Carol McCullough (the late Jim) and Barbara McCullough (the late John). Many nieces and nephews are left with great memories of John especially his dear friend Doug Ogden. Predeceased by his guide dog Lilly, who was a loving and loyal companion for 13 years. John was a retiree of the Hamilton General Hospital after 35 years service. In his younger years John loved bowling, curling and travelling. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. Special thank you to David, Sean and Lyndsey for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of John's life will take place at The Brown Barrel - 1515 Upper Ottawa Street. March 19, 2022 from 1-5pm.
