Judith HANNAH Obituary

September 17, 1955 - February 19, 2022

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Judith (Judy) Ann Hannah, shortly following her cancer diagnosis. Judy was the loving wife, best friend, and soulmate of Ken Hannah. Very proud mother of Michael and Brett (Christine). Judy's joy in life were her grandchildren Nolan, Logan, and Sadie. She loved them so much. Judy will be missed by her mother-in-law Mary Hannah. Survived by her brother John (Lori). Judy's passion in life was helping people. She became a nurse and was employed at St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas. She truly loved working with the Elderly. Her other passion in life was being the life of the party. She could keep a party going for hours. Her fast wit and joke telling amazed people. Judy will be remembered for winning the Athlete of the Day numerous times at the annual Gray Cup in Freelton. Judy will be missed by an unprecedented number of friends. Wherever Judy went, she brought smiles to peoples faces. I remember renting a condo in Venice Beach. Upon arriving at the pool, she did not know anyone. But within 30 minutes she knew them all. I would then watch as Judy went into action. The jokes kept coming. You could hear the laughter all around the pool. What an amazing woman. Judy loved the annual trips to the north country. She loved the cottage. She was like a mermaid. We were all amazed how she could float on her back for hours. We would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff at the Juravinski Hospital Fifth Floor Ward F for the love they showed to Judy. They are truly Professionals. A special thank you to Nurse Melvin. I could feel the warmth and compassion he felt towards Judy. You helped me through this terrible ordeal. A celebration of life will take place at the Hamilton Air Force Association, 128 King St. E. Dundas, ON, on Saturday, March 26, 2022, between the hours of 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. According to Judy's wishes cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
