SPISIC, Kata It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kata Spisic on November 30, 2019 at the age of 100. Predeceased by her loving husband Ivan (1983). Adored Mama to Ankica, Slavica and Branko. Cherished grandmother to John (Enza), Vlado (Corey), Edward (Ann), Steve (Christina), Brian (Marianna), Sylvia (Trevor), David (Holly) and great-grandmother to Matthew, Amilia, Nadia, Mara, Marko, Madeline, Zachary, Olivia, Thomas, Crystal, Quinn, Ashley, Brianna and Brandon. Kata will be remembered for the love she had for her family. Although she is no longer with us, she will forever be in our hearts. Donations in Kata's memory can be made to the Holy Cross Church. Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street E. (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, December 4th from 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers to be said at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street E. on Thursday, December 5th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
