Larry McKENNA Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the gentle passing of Larry, at the Juravinski Hospital on June 11, 2022. Predeceased by his mother Patricia and his father Ivan. Loving husband to Karen. Dear father to Trevor, Tyler and Jennifer and their spouses Cassandra, Diego and Nathan. Loving grandfather to Sienna, Evelyn and Emma. Will be sadly missed by his brothers and their spouses: Patrick - Janis; Bruce - Kelly; and Devin - Beverly. After years in Nanaimo, B.C., Larry happily returned to Hamilton to work with Starward Homes and Alterra Construction. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH AND BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, 905-648-3852 on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster. Donations in memory of Larry can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Please sign the online Book of Condolence at www.dbancaster.ca

I miss working with you. Even when we were very busy you found a way to make us laugh. The phone calls after work hilarious. You were there for me when my dad passed. I was great full for that. Thank you.

My condolences to Larry's family and friends. Larry was a kind soul. I have known him since my teens and he worked with my husband later at Starward Homes. Rest in Peace Larry. The struggle is over. may your memory and legacy always be forever remembered through your family and friends. My heart goes out to all.
