My parents Bob and Barb McDonald were neighbour's and friends did many year. My mom used to love talking to Leona. I had the honour of meeting her through my mom. I had a few visits with her, having tea and snacks while Nicholas and her dog played hide and seek in the house. May she Rest In Peace now. She is in heaven with my parents again, maybe playing bingo like they all lived when they went to Florida. Thinking of you Cliff in this time of sadness.

I was honored to meet Leona/mom through her daughter Wendy Johnston. Leona was a very beautiful person she welcomed you with her wonderful smile, kindness and made you feel welcomed in her home. She loved to play crib which she was very good at. She happily enjoyed hanging out with her children and family. Leona/mom we will miss you very much and love you very much.

Warm memories of Leona and Cliff in Florida with my girls. They made our trip so much fun. My girls, all grown now with children of their own,
still speak of the great time they had. Hugs to all of you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Lisa Alton
