It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lilia Boruta on the morning of February 20, 2022, surrounded by her husband, friends and close family.
Lidka, at the age of 60 was the beloved and devoted soulmate of husband Darek Boruta, the loving daughter of the late Salomea & Stanisław Sygut, caring sister to Elżbieta Gołos (late Mieczysław), Krzysiek Sygut (Anna) & Beata Konieczna (Slawek). Lidka will be forever remembered by all her nieces & nephews, Mariusz Gołos (Julia & Wiktor), Piotr Gołos (Aleksander) , Sylwia Sygut (Boaz), David Sygut, Kamila (Robert &Tomasz), Klaudia Jończyk (Grzegorz) & Anna Suchojad (Luke) with their families. Lidka is deeply missed by her best friend Beata Brzozowska and family.
Lilia was a kind-hearted and generous spirit, who made a lasting mark on all those she met. Lilia dedicated her entire life to her family and friends, her community and religion. She was a passionate self-made professional sewing entrepreneur and was a woman loved by many and respected by all. Lidka will be forever in our hearts. May she rest peacefully and may her memory continue to live through us and in us for eternity.
Friends and Family are invited to a closed-casket visitation on Sunday, February 27th from 5pm - 9pm at Bay Gardens funeral home, 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON. All are welcome to join the funeral service on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 9:00 am at St. Stanislaus Church, 8 Saint Ann St, Hamilton. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek.
