It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lillian Mildred Turnbull on March 22nd 2022 at the Juravinski Hospital. Lillian peacefully passed with dignity and grace with loving family by her side. Her devoted husband, William Turnbull (pre-deceased) will welcome her with open arms as they dance in the clouds together in heaven. She will be lovingly remembered by all her family, including her son Bill (Lori), daughter Cathy, Grand-daughter Krista (Edward), her pride and joy great grand-son Mateo and daughter-in-law Deb. There are many nieces, nephews and friends who grieve with us. Lillian was predeceased by her sisters Nora and Pat.
Lillian was the matriarch of our family, the heart and soul and the glue that put all the pieces perfectly together. She always made sure her friends and family were okay, she never forgot a birthday, anniversary or celebration of any sort. Lily was an avid reader, cross-worder and scrabble and card player whose competitive nature allowed endless excitement. We all loved this about her. Lillian worked in the offices of Drs. Day, Ferris and Hind for many years where she made fond memories and lasting friendships in which she shared much fun and laughter.
Lillian was a devout Catholic. Her zest for life, strong personality, kindness and dedication to her friends, family and all those around her was and always will be admired. The memories we've all made with her will always be cherished.
To the woman who made her mark on the world, asked for little but gave a lot and put love in our hearts here is to you, for making the world a better place, for teaching us the most important and valuable lessons in life and for giving us 93 years of your beauty. You will always be with us, you are the brightest star in the sky and you will forever be in our hearts.
We'll be seeing you...
