Lily Hoo Obituary

Peacefully, with her family by her side, Lily Hoo passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, in her 98th year. Pre-deceased by her husband John, brothers Richard and Robert Lee and her sister Rose Hines. Beloved sister of Roy Lee (Lois). Survived by her loving children, Mae Lee (Allen), Joanette Connell (Vladimir), Jeffery Hoo, Lydia Lee (Guy), Rick Hoo (Susie), Brent Hoo (Lisa). Lily will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Norman Lee (Janice), Nelson Lee, Roberta Wichman (Dave), Dennis Shannon (Rebecca), Jessica Kelley (Taylor), Devon Lee, Brandon Hoo (Kayley), Alicia Hoo, Sammy Hoo, Phoebe Hoo and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all the PSWs who cared for Lily and to the Doctors and nurses at STJH. CTU-Central and CTU West. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to one of Lily's favourite charities: War Amps, Welcome Inn Community Centre. Online services will be held at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home on Thursday April 8, 2021 at 1pm. Robinson Chapel. 15 West Ave N. Hamilton, ON. Visitations are limited and by appointment. Internment following the service will take place at Woodlands Cemetery, Burlington, ON.
