Loretta ADILI Obituary

November 3, 1931 - January 30, 2022

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Loretta at the Meadows Long Term Care Centre in Ancaster at the age of 90.
Predeceased by parents Stefan and Jozefa Pintal. She was the beloved wife of Basil for 69 years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Lucy and Ryszard Bartosik of Hamilton and Rosemarie and Marty Hobson of St. Catherine's.
She was affectionately called Baci or Babcia by her grandson Peter Bartosik. She will also be greatly missed by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gus and Jessie Adili. Cherished aunt to her nephews Joe and Althea Adili, Tony and Elisa Adili, and Frank and Paula Adili and their families. She will be remembered by her cousins Mary and Peter Simatovic and Connie and Stan Krajewski and families.
Loretta was a retired employee of Norton Company in Hamilton. She will also be missed by many friends and long time neighbours. Special thanks to the staff at the Meadows who cared for Loretta with compassion over these past few months.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, ON, L8W 3M2. Due to Covid regulations, please register for the visitation online at baygardens.ca. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton, ON, L8T 1V9. For more information regarding the funeral mass date and time, please contact St. Margaret Mary Parish. A private interment at Resurrection Cemetery is to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Sincerest condolences dear Lucy to you and your family. I have great memories of making the best shortbread at your kitchen table with your mother. And those trips to Hewitts Dairy for banana splits will always be remembered!
