Louis Deme peacefully passed away at his Hamilton home at the age of 68. Beloved son of the late Louis and Helen, brother of Steven (Dawn). Mourned by Hungarian cousins László (Johanna) Deme and Andrea (Béla) Bükki, second cousins András, Eszter, and Rebeka, as well as other relatives in Hungary. Washington, DC cousin Barbara Toth. Louis will be sadly missed by his family of friends in the Hamilton area, including Nicholas Fur, David and Donna Molnar, Anton and Helen Novak, Martin and Kathy Seregélyes, spiritual advisor Fr. Joe Durkacz. Louis was a lifelong member of St. Stephen of Hungary Parish. He had participated in the scout troop, the folk dance group, the CYO youth group, and has recently helped with grounds maintenance. Once Covid-19 restrictions have been eased, a Memorial Mass will take place at a later date, at St. Stephen of Hungary (130 Barton Street East, Hamilton, ON, L8L 2W4).
