Louise Ansell Nelson Obituary

Peacefully at Willowgrove LTC, Louise passed away on Friday January 28th at the age of 86. Louise's battle with Alzheimer's never took away her cheery disposition, always laughing, smiling, caring, and loving, she was upbeat right to the end. Louise worked as a secretary at Norwood Park and Chedoke Middle Schools for many years. When she retired with her husband Stan they enjoyed traveling, cruising and spending time with family & friends. The kindest of souls Louise will be forever loved and missed by her children Stephen and John (Lisa), granddaughter Emily, and her brother John in Winnipeg. Louise was predeceased by her husband Stan of 51 years, her parents John and Grace Nelson and her sister Evelyn now joining them in Heaven.
Funeral service will take place at the Salvation Army Meadowlands on Stone Church Road West on Tuesday Feb 22nd at 1:00pm. Covid-19 protocol will be in effect and must be double vaccinated to attend. Thank you to all the caring staff at Willowgrove. Donations if desired can be directed to the Alzheimer's Society or Canadian Cancer Society.

I'm so sorry to hear of Louise's passing. She was an amazing women, and a school mom to all of us at Chedoke. I will miss her love and caring nature. I'm so glad I got to know her and be loved by her.

I am so sorry to hear of Louise's passing. she was a good friend to me, both in church activities and at Chedoke School. I have lovely memories of good times together. She was a lovely Christian lady.
