1921 - 2021 Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Campbell of 56 years, her parents Winifred and Harry and her brother in law Erwin Campbell. Survived by her in laws, Marion (the late Duncan) MacDonald and Omar (Maude) Campbell, Port Hood, N.S., Rose (the late Alexander) MacDonald, Niagara Falls, ON. Catherine, Daniel and James Campbell of Brookline, Mass. Louise is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A graduate of McMaster University, University of Toronto and Wilfred Laurier University she earned her B.A., M.Ed and MA. She was a school teacher at Hamilton Wentworth, Southmount and Delta until her retirement in 1984. She was active in her church, St. Ann's Parish, Ancaster and was a founding member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, Rho Chapter. She enjoyed volunteering at the Holy Spirit Centre where she held many offices. Special thanks to her caregivers, Phoebe, Arjun and Jasmin and to her many good friends who enabled her to remain in her own home. Visitation will be at PX Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage St., Hamilton, on Sunday, March 14th from 12-2 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, everyone must RSVP either on the funeral home website or by calling 905-388-4141. Everyone in attendance must wear a face mask. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 15th at 1 p.m. at St. Ann's Parish, Ancaster.
