My sincerest condolences to Lucas's family

I was deeply saddened and stunned to learn the loss of Lucas. I first met Lucas on Macnab Street where his height met my knee. We flew his kite and I got it stuck in hydro wires. He started to cry. Since then I saw him at family parties, growing taller each time. He also shared beautiful stories about his adventures. I really looked forward to Penny's yearly Christmas letters, talking about his new, exciting adventures. What a beautiful life he lived.
I am really sorry for your loss and you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

When remembering Lucas we think of a kind , loving soul with a lust for life and a boundless sense of adventure. Lucas wanted to see and do it all! His intellectual curiosity was led by a great spirit . We would love to have witnessed his accomplishments had he been with us a little longer.
It is with great sadness that we bid this fine young man adieu and to family and friends our most sincere condolences.
P.S. When he returned from the Burning Man festival that year , he was on fire!

I was greatly saddened to learn of the loss of Lucas. He and my niece Sandy visited the Florida Keys with us in 2017. They snorkled, swam and kayaked with much delight. Lucas was often laughing , eager to explore, curious and warm.
I offer my sincere condolences to family and friends who will miss Lucas greatly.
