Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Revera Ridgeview LTC, Stoney Creek, on January 26, 2023 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Matilde for 57 years. Loving father of Walter (Mary), Loris (Rita) and Marco (Taria). Cherished Nonno of Sarah, Mathew, Andrew, Sophia, Roman, Claudia, Naomi and Aliya. He will be sadly missed by his sister Maria (late Armando) and brother Domenico. Predeceased by his siblings Luigi (Amy), Bernadina (late Lalo) and Rosina (late Frank). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, cousins and extended family. Luciano was a bricklayer at Stelco with over 30 years of service. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ridgeview LTC for their compassionate care of Luciano. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8, STONEY CREEK on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. where Funeral prayers will be offered in the chapel on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 1 p.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
