Lynda Clark

In peace and sorrow we announce the passing of Lynda Clark on December 16, 2022 at the age of 73. Lynda leaves her loving husband Tom Mack, son Sean Clark (Julie, Jacen, Robyn, Max) daughter Amanda O'Gorman (William, Taeg, Camryn, Chelsea), first husband Joe Clark (Margaret Smythe), brothers Bill Brunton (Lynda), Frank Brunton (Joy), and sister Denise Robertson (Gord). Lynda's life was filled with the love of family and friends, and a passion for teaching and learning. In her 35 years as an elementary teacher, she taught nearly every grade, as well as several years as a school librarian. In her final years at St. Marguerite D'Youville, Lynda learned to play guitar and sing for an enthusiastic and forgiving audience of four-year old's. She was a model of the joy of learning to her students and colleagues. Funeral mass will be held at Regina Mundi Parish at 675 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., Celebration of Life to follow in the Parish Hall. Donations can be made to the Cancer Assistance Program of Hamilton, Cancer Research Society, Stephen Lewis Foundation, Good Shepherd Centre, or Parkinson Canada.
