Bigrigg, Margaret Anne, (nee Patterson) passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the age of 86 years. All of her siblings are predeceased. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Raymond. She was the proud and loving mother of Brad (Laura) and Sharon (Eugene). Cherished grandmother of Cynthia, Ian, Christina, Cody, Jenna and Sabrina. Great-grandmother to Ivan, Grayson, Kaine and Hawk-Eye. Special thanks to the staff at Emma's Memory Care at Wentworth Heights, and the Emergency and Medical 3E staff at Juravinski Hospital for their loving care of Anne. Anne volunteered at the Joseph Brant Hospital and participated in many school functions. She taught her children respect and manners. Anne honed her skills in baking and cooking and her recipes have led to award winning pies. She took on every challenge with pleasure and enthusiasm and prepared her children to be successful from the time they could talk. Anne enjoyed family gatherings and always put family first. She loved travelling near and far and will one day meet her beloved Ray again in Barbados. A private family service will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Avenue). Cremation has already taken place with interment at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House charities, South Central Ontario, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
