Marguerite Mary SIEK

It is with deep sadness and God's blessing we announce the peaceful passing of Marguerite (Marg) on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Predeceased by her beloved husband Carl of 62 years. Marg is now on her way to greet the love of her life Carl. Daughter of Kay Buttaro. Dear sister of Charlotte and the late Dennis Lascar and their son James, brother of Sam and Gayle Buttaro, sister-in-law of the late Stanley and Yvonne Siek and Michael and Barbara Siek. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Nova Scotia and then moved to Hamilton in her teenage years. Marg had a lengthy career with Proctor and Gamble and to date has maintained her friendship with coworkers from P&G. Marg and Carl enjoyed their retirement with many casino outings, Vegas trips with Joe and Ellen Shaheen and their Saturday "view" gatherings. Marg was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Raptors fan as well as the Buffalo Bills. Marg along with her brother Sam were horse racing followers.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Lawrence Church on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 9 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
A donation to St. Lawrence Church or the George Oliver Memorial Foundation (Mohawk College) would be greatly appreciated.
