Passed away peacefully at her home in Ottawa on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Petar. Beloved mother of John (Milica). Proud and loving grandma of Anthony (Amanda), and Jessica. Great-grandma of Leo and Aleena. Marica will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always put others before herself. She always welcomed everyone with open arms and a good meal. She will be forever loved and remembered by all of those who knew and loved her. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, August 29 from 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Eugene's Church, 232 Queenston Rd, Hamilton, on Tuesday, August 30th at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
