Mario MARCHESAN

MARCHESAN, Mario After a brief illness, at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday, December 29, 2018 having celebrated his 85th birthday earlier in the month. Born in Castello Di Godego, Treviso, Italy, Mario immigrated to Canada in 1954. He is survived by his children, Julia Marchesan, Natalie Marchesan and Ron Klopfer, John Marchesan and Diana Moffat, Michael Marchesan and Lyn Sibley, and grandchildren Elena Marchesan and Miriam Klopfer. Also survived by his siblings, Carlo, Pietro, Ilario and Erminio Marchesan and Lydia Stramare as well as his ex-wife, Dorothy Marchesan. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank staff at St. Peter's Palliative Care unit for their excellent and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass offered at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church , 165 Prospect St. N.
