It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother and Queen of our very large family, Marion in her 97th year. She came to the end of her journey peacefully at Idlewyld Manor on June 19th, 2022. She lived a long and full life and will be remembered with deep love by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Art (1978) and her dear son Bob (2019). She is survived by her children Susan (Mike) Gittings, Jim (Bev Comfort), pre-deceased Bob (Janet), Nancy (predeased Norm Bortz), Scott (Lynn). She was a wonderful Nan and Great Nanny to nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Karen, Laura; Elliot; Tyler, Morgan; Ryan, Carrie Anne; Rachel; and 14 great grandchildren. She was the oldest of her siblings who all pre-deceased her Don; Bev Volk, Doug and Neil. Marion will always be remembered for her delicious baking love of cards, sports, music and anything sweet. She loved her family fiercely and they loved her back and she has left us with a lifetime of wonderful memories. A special thanks to the staff of Rose Garden Idlewyld Manor.
