Marjorie J. Reid

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie in her 91st year on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, at The Village of Wentworth Heights in Hamilton. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmie of 57 years. Loving mother of Elizabeth Glasser (Barry) of Stoney Creek, Marjorie Nixon (Robin) of Edmonton and Carol Griffin (Dave) of Caistor Centre. Dear Nana of Matthew, Katie (Kyle), Jack and William. Great-Nana to Peyton, Lucas and Liam. Predeceased by brothers Harry and Charles, and parents Henry and Marjorie. Dear sister-in-law to Sue Wilson of Mississauga and Elizabeth Galloway of Scotland. Marjorie will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Marjorie was a retiree from the Bank of Montreal. She loved photography, travelling anywhere and everywhere, reading mystery books and she especially loved yelling Bingo! Special thanks to the staff at The Village of Wentworth Heights and especially the staff in Scottsdale Neighborhood.
Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Monday, January 24th from 10-10:30 a.m. Due to current gathering restrictions, guests wishing to visit must RSVP by calling Cresmount, (905)387-2111.
